ADVICE-LETTER ROUNDUP: Sempra IOUs’ PPP Updates; SDG&E’s Annual Gas Rate Update

SoCalGas and SDG&E filed annual gas Public Purpose Program (PPP) surcharge updates on Nov. 2, proposing lower collections effective Jan. 1, 2027. SDG&E separately requests a $107.2 million, or 14.7%, increase in its gas transportation revenue requirement through its annual regulatory account update.

The PPP reductions would offset part of the transportation increases, including those SoCalGas proposed in its filing covered in CRI’s Oct. 16 post. (PG&E's equivalent filings are detailed here.)
