THURSDAY BRIEFING: DER Orchestration, Climate Adaptation, Demand Response

A heavy batch of CPUC filings this week lays out new processes for DER orchestration and climate adaptation, gives PG&E interim rate relief while its 2027 GRC remains pending, and keeps utility demand-response programs funded through 2029.

Also in the mix: a Climate Credit ruling standardizes how utilities must evaluate competing proposals and an order requiring PG&E to rebuild its dynamic-rate workpapers so they can be tested and compared with SCE and SDG&E.
