Oct. 8 CPUC Voting Meeting Results: Wildfire Maps, Energy Efficiency, Diablo Canyon

At its Oct. 8 voting meeting, the CPUC adopted decisions addressing wildfire threat maps, energy efficiency, distributed energy resources, Direct Access and utility cost recovery. Actions include approval of $1.22 billion in Diablo Canyon extended operations costs and rejection of SDG&E's proposal to discontinue its regional energy efficiency programs.

The Commission also postponed several items until Oct. 29, including PG&E's proposed Google data-center agreement, Liberty Utilities' Mountain View Fire cost-recovery request and competing PDs in the biomethane cost-allocation rulemaking.
