SATURDAY BRIEFING: PCIA Reform, Data Center Forecasts, and Aliso Canyon

In today's briefing:

  • The CPUC is reopening the structure of the Power Charge Indifference Adjustment even while acknowledging it already satisfies the legal indifference standard;
  • The Commission is forcing PG&E to show how much of its data-center forecast rests on actual commitments rather than earlier-stage interest; and
  • SoCalGas and the Indicated Shippers are asking the Commission to delay the next assessment in the Aliso Canyon Biennial Assessment proceeding long enough to incorporate a still-evolving methodology.
